How We Started

Welcome to Moose Brothers BBQ and Catering:
Home of the Mega Moose Challenge!

     Before becoming a restaurant, we were two brothers with a hobby (and a hunger) for all things bar-b-qued. Our family shared that hunger, and in 2007, after some gentle nudging, we built our first smoker and entered our first competitions, one of them resulting in 4th place at the Missouri State Fair in the pork division.
     Since the beginning, we have expanded with a custom built trailer for catering, competitions and special events.  In June 2010, we opened a full-menu restaurant in downtown Russellville, Missouri.
     So, come on down to our place where the portions are big, the flavor is bigger and the casual atmosphere is a great place for the whole family!
